Western Arts Wednesday at the Hotel Leo presents, Western Washington University’s College of Fine and Performing Arts Departments of Music and Theatre
What: Join us for our monthly Western Arts Wednesday, a vibrant evening showcasing the talents of Western Washington University’s College of Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA). This month’s double bill features a dynamic collaboration between the Theatre and Music departments, hosted in partnership with the historic Hotel Leo.
The evening begins with a compelling series of short monologues performed by students from WWU’s Theatre Department. Spanning from the timeless works of William Shakespeare to the contemporary voice of Naomi Iizuka, these performances highlight the range and depth of emerging theatrical talent.
Following the theatrical showcase, the WWU Flute Quintet from the Music Department will take the stage, performing an exquisite selection of chamber music. The program includes classical elegance from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and modern compositions by Iranian-American composer Amir Shahroudi, offering a rich and diverse musical experience.
